symmetrical art
These are my rotational symmetry art. You need to make a design on your eighth and shade in the back. Then get your design and put it on your eighth and go over the design on the eighth and do this on all of them then colour it in symmetrically.

SYMMETRICAL INSECTS
We drew our bugs with pencil and then drew over them with black pastel. then we folded them in half and rubbed really hard and when we opened them there was a vague black outline and you drew over it with black pastel and then colored it in with different colored pastel.

SPORTS EXTRAVAGANZA
SPORTS EXTRAVAGANZA
Beep Go! pull everyone this Tyre is very heavy we drag it to the first maker and answer the question then answer the rest of the questions to the end and then pull the Tyre back to the start.
Once we answered the last question we had to heave the Tyre all the way back to the start. We pulled it for ages it felt like ages anyway it wasn't even half way. We tugged and heaved but didn’t get anywhere for a moment.
Then the Tyre started to move and we were half way. we kept pulling and we were almost there. In the end we won and everybody else was still pulling and we got 5 points!.
I had heaps of fun but then my hands ached. my favorite part was answering the questions. It was finally over and i think everyone had fun even if they didn’t win.

I WAS SO SCARED
Aha everyone is screaming there are big fat tears rolling down my cheeks the tour guide tells as a creepy story and all the dads make animal noises. I can’t see a thing it is pitch black. Anna was sitting by the rail and someone kept touching her. I was sitting there with tears blurring up my eyes so i closed them . Mrs May was telling as to laugh not cry but it was impossible not to be scared. I was trying to calm down but i just couldn't . Finally the lights flicked back on and we went back to the classroom. I thought the scaring was over but it wasn't then out of nowhere a zombie headed straight for Arnika and I. I saw everybody ahead of me running so I ran for it but luckily the zombie was only Dannie but it was still a relief to get back to the classroom!
I WAS SO MAD
Earlier that day I was lying on my bed hitting my pillow I was so MAD that I could rip my pillow up It was so FRUSTRATING. I was stomping all over the house and I wanted to kick the wall. My face was red and I was trying to calm down but my temper kept rising. I wouldn't talk to anyone and I wouldn’t even listen to the person saying sorry I was just to ANGRY! Then finally I started to calm down and then everything went back to normal.
BIRTHDAY MEMORY
Happy birthday everyone sang to me and my Granddad in auckland. I was with all of my family except Abby,Tom and dad. It was my birthday and my Granddad party and he called me up to the front to sit with him and everyone sang happy birthday. After that Granddad played a song on his guitar called route 66. Then my cousin Marlee and i cut grandads cake and granddad blew out the candles and everyone clapped and it was lots of fun.

change the New Zealand flag
Do you want to change the new zealand flag well i think we should do you agree with me? If you don’t then listen to this and it might change your mind.
p1 Do you want to change the new Zealand flag? Well i do. The flag is to much the same as Australia's and it's almost exactly the same. This flag doesn't represent anything in new Zealand. The flag we have is just too plan new Zealand is a colorful country.
P2 If we do change the flag this is what it will look like… It should have a plan black background with four stars on the left hand side and a koru square on the right hand side. this flag will be more colourful and full of life. Our new flag will look nothing like australia's.

P3 Do you want reasons why it should be changed here they are. It is like exactly the same as australias. Our flag is just too boring and so plan what do you think of the flag do you think it is boring and plain like me if you do you are right.
P4 Why on earth would you not change the flag if you have already spent $26 million on designs if in the end you're not going to change it. so if you have all the designs you should definitely change it.
In the end they should end up changing the flag because then it will represent new Zealand.
children should do chores
Introduction - You know don't you, of course children should do chores. Just because you don’t want to do it dosen’t mean you don’t have to.

Do you think it is helpful to tidy up without asking well if you think it is then you are exactly right. It is very important to help your parents to tidy up because you will want your children to tidy up to.
Conclusion Kids really need to help around the house just because it is helpful and you are getting ready to be a grown up. It also makes your parents happy when you tidy up

My goals for term three are:

making popcorn
Friday the 15 of may we made popcorn. We needed oil, popcorn kernels and a frying pan.
We turned on the frying pan then we put oil in it then we tipped the popcorn kernels in and waited.
it took a long time for the kernels to pop. Eventually it started to pop.
